Moderation Policy

We welcome your participation and contribution on our CCF.

This site is aimed at public education, including the education of school children. All comments should be suitable to be read by children. Accordingly our rules are:

  • Keep your comments on topic and make sure they are factual. Be informed.
  • Make sure your comments do not contain personal attacks on staff, public figures or institutions.
  • Be respectful of others who use this website. Don’t use language that is offensive, inflammatory or provocative.
  • Refrain from defamation, condoning illegal activity, breaching confidentiality or commercial-in-confidence, or comments that may be in contempt of court.
  • Don’t use discriminatory language relating to the gender, race, religion, culture, sexual preference, gender identity, disability, appearance or background of a person.
  • Be thoughtful and kind. It is okay to disagree with a comment or the content, but make sure your contribution is respectful and explain why you disagree.

We moderate all comments to ensure they comply with these guidelines and will remove any comments we feel inappropriate at our discretion.
